The annual sale, on Saturday 16th March is a highlight of the auction rooms’ calendar and is perfectly timed for the start of the fishing season, or for those looking to enjoy springtime on the water, With 300 lots registered, there are several boats, and a range of outboard engines, including Mercury, Yahama and Seagull engines. For those looking to take up waterborne fitness there are also a collection of ready-to-paddle kayaks. It is anticipated that the main star of this sale will be an immaculate 1970’s 21ft motor cruiser with a Volvo Penta engine on its own trailer. This fantastic boat, perfect for someone keen to explore and enjoy the Lake District from the lakes themselves, is expected to achieve in the region of £3k - £4k For those who follow the wind, sailing boats which feature in this sale include a bilge keel 21ft day boat, a GP14 in timber, currently sat on a trailer, and a 16ft fishing Shetland, with a Mercury 50HP outboard. Dozens of fishing rods, reels, ropes and more equipment than you can shake your shackles at, have also been entered.
